Faith Formation

Faith Formation forms children and adults in their faith life. Our mission is to fill the needs of our parish community and beyond. Along with many opportunities to participate in our programs, activities, and many events, volunteers are needed to develop our faith community. Several areas require additional training such as Safe Environment and Background checks.

Discover, Grow and Connect

At Immaculate Parish, we believe faith is a journey, an ongoing exploration of our relationship with one another, ourselves, and most importantly, God. Our Faith Formation Program is designed to provide a welcoming environment where individuals of all ages can deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, grow in community with others, and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether you are taking your first steps on this journey or have been walking for years, our program offers various enriching opportunities to meet your needs.

What is Faith Formation?

Faith Formation encompasses a lifelong journey of spiritual growth and development. It involves engaging with Sacred Scripture, participating in the Sacraments, reflecting on personal experiences, and connecting with the community. Our program fosters an environment where individuals can explore their faith, wrestle with tough questions, and cultivate a faith that is authentic and personally meaningful.

Program Offerings:

  • Religious Education Program (K-8): Classes are offered to kids K-8. Each class features an age-appropriate curriculum, interactive discussions, and engaging activities that help participants grasp and apply faith concepts to daily life.
  • High School Youth Ministery: Dedicated to kids in high school, our youth ministry creates a safe and nurturing place for young people to explore their faith, build lasting friendships, and discuss relevant topics in their lives centered around the Eucharist. We offer faith nights, service projects, and retreats.
  • Bible Study and Small Groups for Adults (more of these, coming soon): Designed for adults to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith, these classes cover a wide range of topics, including Scripture study, spirituality, and church history, just to name a few.
  • Sacrament Preparation: Special programs for individuals preparing for the sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. These are often included in our Religious Education program. These opportunities provide teachings on the significance of each sacrament and the commitments involved.

All Faith Formation Nights will occur Wednesday from 6:15 pm-7:30 pm. If you would like to register your child for our Faith Formation program, don't hesitate to contact the Director of Faith Formation at the above address.
