Faith Formation forms children and adults in their faith life. Our mission is to fill the needs of our parish community and beyond. Along with many opportunities to participate in our programs, activities, and many events, volunteers are needed to develop our faith community. Several areas require additional training such as Safe Environment and Background checks.

A Message from Fr. John
As we begin a new year of Faith Formation I am happy to welcome Matthew Tate as our new catechetical leader. Matthew has been with us for about a month now and he has been working diligently to get our program started. As he continues to settle in and meet more parishioners I am confident that we will all benefit from his faith, energy and zeal.
I want to thank those who have responded to our invitation to serve as catechists and aids to our children. What an important role they have in the religious formation of our young parishioners.
You have heard me say that parents are the first teachers of their children and that the most important faith formation happens in the home where faith is ”caught” more than it is “taught.” How important it is that your children see you practicing your faith by family prayer, Sunday Mass and confession. The parish is privileged to accompany you and to assist you as you strive to fulfill the promises you made when your children were baptized.
We pray that the months ahead will be a time of grace and spiritual growth. We ask the intercession of Mary, our parish patroness, as we embark upon another year of Faith Formation.
Fr. John Vaughan
