Baptism
By appointment. Families are asked to participate in a one-time formation before the Baptism of the first child.
First Reconciliation
Students at the age of reason (typically second grade) celebrate their first Reconciliation during this year. All children & youth (from public, private, and homeschool) and their parents make at least one retreat before the celebration of the sacrament. Dates for the retreat and 1st Reconciliation will be set at the start of the school year.
First Communion
Students again at the age of reason celebrate their first Communion during this year. All students (from public, private, and homeschool) and their parents make at least one retreat before the celebration of the sacrament. Dates for the retreat, rehearsal, and 1st Communion will be set at the start of the school year.
Confirmation
Youth in 8th grade who have consistently attended formation sessions (in public, private, or homeschool) will be confirmed during their 8th grade year. Several retreats are presented including one for parents, one for sponsors, and several for youth. Youth are required to attend the retreats, rites, interview, rehearsal, and of course the actual Confirmation.
Matrimony
To begin preparation for a wedding, please contact the pastor at least six months prior to the proposed date of the ceremony.
Funerals
Funerals at Immaculate may be arranged either through the funeral home of your choice, or by calling the parish office directly. Pre-planning options are available. For more information, click here.
Anointing of the Sick
Parishioners may call the parish office to request this sacrament. A Mass for communal anointing is open for everyone on the last Wednesday of January, April, July, and October at 11:00 am. The Mass is followed with a fellowship luncheon.
Hospital / home sick calls / private conferences
Parishioners are urged to call the parish office to arrange with the pastor a hospital visit, home visit, or a personal conference.
